Krzysztof Grochowski

Graduate of the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw and the Executive MBA program at the Warsaw School of Economics. In Simpact, he acts as a CEO and Chairman of the Investment Committee. At the same time, he runs CoFund which provides consultancy and audit services (mainly for R & D projects). For years, he has been associated with the Cooperation Fund, where he coordinates the work of the public sector support office. Krzysztof has many years of business experience in the private and public sectors, including areas of development resources and entrepreneurship support. He works as an expert and trainer to various institutions implementing aid programs and projects. He advised and participated in the creation of modus operandi and implementation of the investment policy of several VC funds in Poland.

Wojciech Majewski

Managing Director
Graduate in Finance and Accounting at the Warsaw School of Economics, as well as electrotechnics at the Warsaw University of Technology. He also studied at the National Chengchi University in Taiwan. In Simpact, he is responsible for the implementation of the investment process and technological assessment. He is a member of the Investment Committee. Wojciech gained experience as the head of the Technology Department at the Polish Institute of Research and Development. He verified hundreds of ideas and initiatives from the technological side, as well as intellectual property or business strategy. He contributed to the creation of several companies based on advanced technological solutions, from areas such as nanotechnology, chemical and material engineering, electronic control systems, communication technologies for IoT devices and medicine. In addition, he coordinated and co-created commercialization strategies for universities and research and development institutions.

Jacek Ostrowski

He studied European and American studies, graduated in Project Management, and graduated with honors from the MBA program at the Warsaw School of Economics. In Simpact, he is responsible for the organizational and operational issues, communication and impact investing area. He acts as a Member of the Investment Committee. He has over 15 years of experience in all three sectors - public, non-governmental and private. For 10 years he has been managing the Cooperation Fund. He was responsible for the portfolio of projects and programs worth over PLN 500 million, including entrepreneurship and startups, education and innovation, R & D, grant and loan programs. He oversees commercial and operational activities as well as subsidiary companies. Trainer, academic lecturer, co-author of publications in the field of project management. Expert of the Minister of Development and European Commission, Member of many Monitoring and Steering Committees.

Kamil Przybysz

Investment Manager
Graduate of Information Technology and Information Management at the Polish-Japanese Institute of Information Technology at interdisciplinary specialization in Project Management. In Simpact, he is responsible for the implementation of the investment process. He used to work as an analyst and IP specialist at the National Center for Nuclear Research and a Head of the Department of Technological Analysis at the Polish Institute of Research and Development. He was the main analyst within the Seed Bridge Alfa fund. He cooperated with leading Polish universities and institutes, for which he created commercialization strategies and participated in pilot advisory and implementation programs. He also creates his own research and commercial projects in the field of virtual reality and data encryption.

Małgorzata Kowalczyk

Financial Manager
Graduate of International Relations at the Warsaw School of Economics and Project Management studies at the University of Warsaw. As a financial manager, she is responsible for financial management issues. She has over 12 years of professional experience, including the last 6 years as a manager in the Finance Department at the National Center for Research and Development, where she was responsible for the implementation and accounting of R & D projects, cooperation with entrepreneurs, universities and scientific institutes.

Katarzyna Oleksiak

Project Manager
Graduate of Finance and Accounting at the Warsaw School of Economics. She also studied at the University of Tor Vergata in Italy. In Simpact, she is responsible for communication and support of investment process. She gained her professional experience in Copenhagen working as an analyst in the Danish company Voluntas Investments. In the organization, she was responsible for the verification of investment projects, market analysis, business due-diligence. She also created marketing and business development strategies for Danish and international clients.

Michał Khaletskyi

Senior Investment Analyst
Graduate of Finance and Accounting at the Kozminski University. In Simpact. he is responsible for business and financial analysis of investment projects and relations with eastern markets (including Ukraine and Belarus). He started his professional career in the area of investment fund services in the Warsaw branch of Citibank Europe PLC, where he was involved in the monitoring of the process of entering market transactions into the books of funds and in the automation of this process with derivative instruments. Since 2017, he has combined his passion for the world of finance with activities in a startup environment, first in the bValue fund team and now in the Simpact team.

Łukasz Kowalik

Venture Partner
Expert in the field of integrated marketing communication. He holds PhD in Economics. As an adviser, he supports the Simpact in the field of communication and project acquisition. For over 18 years he worked at Intel - initially as a Public Relations Manager at CEE, and then as head of marketing in the CEE region. He was also responsible for business partner programs in Europe and the Middle East and Africa. Expert at the board of the West Pomeranian Employers' Association in the field of marketing, innovation and change management. Business consultant and author of many publications on management and innovation. Business coach and academic lecturer cooperating with several universities, including MBA studies. Co-founder and President of the Board of Stowarzyszenie Akademia Empirium.

Zbigniew Nasiłowski

Venture Partner
Graduate of renowned business universities: Harvard Business School, IESE University of Navarra and Warsaw School of Economics. As an adviser, he supports Simpact in the investment process and management of portfolio companies. He has 20 years of comprehensive professional experience gained in various industries, both in well-organized corporations and companies requiring restructuring. He was responsible for financial operations, accounting, acquisitions of companies and their subsequent integration, restructuring, cost optimization and growth strategies. He worked as a financial director at Drosed S.A., Member of the Board in ZPW Grajewo S.A. and Próchnik S.A., President of the Board at Animex S.A. and CFO at Enel Med S.A. He acted as a CFO in SAP Poland and CFO for the Central Europe Region at SAP AG. Chairman of the audit committee at listed company WDX S.A. and lecturer at Lazarski University in Warsaw.

Tomasz Perkowski

Member of Investment Committee
Graduate of Central European University and MBA studies. He got scholarship from Open Society Institute, German Marshall Fund and Regional Environmental Center. In Simpact, he acts as a Member of the Investment Committee. At the same time, he works as the Vice-President of the Management Board of the Foundation for Polish Science. He performed duties of the Vice-President of FP7 External Advisory Group "Research Potential", Co-chairman of the Science and Technology working group at the Polish-American Innovation Council, Member of the Selection Committee of the "Top 500 Inovators" program, Expert of the Education System Development Foundation, Assessor of the Regional Operational Program of the Masovia Province and a Member Supervisory Boards of such institutions and companies as the National Fund for Environmental Protection, Solaris Optics S.A. and Solaris Laser S.A.

Dariusz Łukaszewski

Member of Investment Committee
Graduate of photonic engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology, where he obtained PhD, and project management at the Warsaw School of Economics. During the PhD thesis he cooperated with leading R & D units, including enterprises in Poland and abroad. In Simpact, he acts as a Member of the Investment Committee. He gained experience during the implementation and coordination of research works for automotive, medical, nanotechnology, railways as well as in the field of prediction of alarms and damage to building structures. He analyzed the innovativeness of several dozen of R & D projects financed from structural funds. In addition, as a Program Coordinator at the Foundation for Polish Science, he co-created and supervised mechanisms supporting PoC and implementation activities.
